About Top Guns (Combo Pack)
While most people would say that the world above the clouds is vast and endless, these pilots know better: they know from experience that things can get tight up there ... damn tight! But the reason why these men and women take to the air is not to save the world from an evil attacker, at least not in the beginning. It is to prove that they're the best at what they're doing. Who is going to get the "Top Gun" medal? Two army units, one with girls, one with boys fight against each other. And when the airborne maneuvers are over, the pilots of both sexes get down to some intimate combat on the ground. Conceited as some of them may be, they all look the same once they've shed their helmets and uniforms. Team spirit ultimately prevails, and the pilots gather for some nice formations in their quarters where rockets are launched and a lot of live ammo is spent!

With an all-star cast, a famous director, great equipment and, of course, a cinema classic to base your story on, you can't really go wrong, can you? Luckily, the crew around helmer Robby D. knows how to produce big-budget eye-candy and girls like Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Stoy and Selene Rose (as well as their male partners) are comfortable in their roles as performers and (yes!) actors. Now, I did leave out Jesse Jane for a particular reason. Turns out this once cute, firm and sexy blonde has mutated into an artificial über-woman - which is quite awful, really. She's way too short and thin to support the weight of those massive fake tits! And the lip-job looks just as bad on her. Less is more, honey. Jesse Jane aside, this is one terrific action-packed flick with lots of special effects. Not the most spectacular thing I've ever seen but certainly very entertaining. Once you've seen all the fake airborne scenes, however, the story begins to drag a little. The sex scenes are typical porn valley standard.

Movies like TOP GUNS are the reason why Digital Playground play in the major league. I've rarely seen a more carefully crafted adult flick; the attention to detail is amazing and expands beyond 'just' the camera work and locations. While I have to admit that the cast isn't really my cup of tea (tastes differ, what can I say?), the craftsmanship behind this movie is excellent and deserves top marks!

Digital Playground did it again: they produced another extravagant big-budget adventure. And the result was definitely worth all the trouble (apparently, a lot of technicians were hired from proper Hollywood crews). The movie is so impressive it's hard to even categorise it properly - is it a feature film with hardcore sex or a porno that looks like a feature film? In any case, it's great family entertainment (except that you should probably watch it without your family). There's action, humour, chicks, machos and lots of sex. In fact, just the right amount of sex to balance the story elements. And while the story might not be entirely original (we've seen it before in countless mainstream flicks), it does its best to keep us entertained throughout. This time, the pilots in the underdog role are all female - and they use their physical assets to overcome the obstacles in their way. While the sex scenes aren't exactly imaginative, there are occasional highlights like the group scene at the end (five girls versus one macho pilot). Hot stuff!
Naturally, the movie invites comparison to Digital Playground's other big-budget bonanza, PIRATES. But it's almost impossible for DP to outdo the success of that flick. TOP GUNS, then, is no better or worse than PIRATES - it's just different. Both titles prove that pornos can look like proper movies and that some performers (male and female) can indeed act. Top marks all around!
