There are many classic porn movies out there that are full of crazy ideas and lovingly detailed craftsmanship. BLONDE AMBITION is one of those movies. After all these years it's still entertaining and definitely worth watching. Even better, the picture quality of this Platinum Elite Collection is remarkably good for a 30 year old movie! The number of sets built for this one flick is staggering; these days, you don't see that many sets in 20 different movies! The variety is impressive: there are farms, theatre stages, vaudeville shows, airplane cabins etc. The highlight is an ice rink in a living room! Another highlight is a fully choreographed group sex scene in a theatre. Not every sex scene in the movie is equally stimulating, though. Some are even quite confusing, particularly when day dreams and 'real life' get mixed together. And then there's the ending: it's kitschy as hell, with everybody wanting to get married and be happy ever after. Still, what a great alternative to today's high-closs anal romps!
