About Official Psycho Parody
Who doesn't know PSYCHO, the most famous horror/serial killer movie ever made. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and released in 1960, the four-time Academy Award-winning story now gets a make-over with this porn parody. Just like in the original, the setting is a spooky motel - and an even spookier house right behind it. Inside lives an attractive man who appears to be quite normal - until Marion Cane (Sara Sloane) checks into the rundown motel to find out otherwise. Not only is she the only guest, the hotel manager also happens to have a penchant for red nail polish. Well, they just do things differently in some states ... And since it's quite a lonely place, the two of them inevitably get cosy with each other. Not a good idea, as it turns out: when Marion steps into the shower to wash the cum off her hot body, something terrible happens ...

Sexy and shocking! It's one thing to spoof mainstream comedies, but it takes a lot of guts to take the piss out of one of the most famous (and scary) horror movies of all time. Sometimes a promising cover can be very misleading (particularly in this genre), but in this case the movie is a real winner too. I'm actually quite thrilled by this 'official parody'. Director Gary Orona doesn't just give us a carbon-copy of the original; instead, he picks the most important elements from Hitchcock's movie and puts them in an entirely gripping new story. The performers act convincingly and fuck with great fervour. Great quality all round, talented performers - what more could you want? Two thumbs up (let's just hope they won't get cut off!).

An accomplished parody of horror classic PSYCHO. Sara Sloane's performance as the female lead is spot on and Katie Jordan also delivers great work. That said, I do find the cast a bit too much on the silicone side of things. On the plus side, there's a great re-staging of the infamous shower scene in this spoof - and the movie is even available in black&white in the bonus section of the disc! Which makes total sense, if you think about it.
