Pixie is extremely likeable. She's young, cheeky in a way and very bouncy and happy. She simply comes out with her stories here; they are entertaining and very well shot. You really get the feeling you're right there with her. This is due to the "subjective" camera angles which is never shy and goes right up close. We the audience get to see real emotions, but you have to like Pixie to be able to really enjoy this. The portrait-style interludes are providing a nice atmosphere and are the cherry on the cake for me. This and the leading lady herself make this a special film.
