No lesser man than Antonio Adamo has signed up with the production company Daring to direct this historical film. If you know how this man works will know, that he likes to lock himself at his studio to shoot in the lavish sets. Thus happened with this production with comes along in a 'sandal-movie' look and costumes from the amateur theatre wardrobe. It's a bit too conventional in the sex scenes too. 'Ready-made' sex, plot-wise merrily spoofed from the HBO series 'Rome' which tried to excite historians.
