About Madam & Eve
Welcome to a crazy hospital, that looks nothing like it, where women in sexual crisis are admitted. The hospital's called Eden and madame herself, clairvoyant, foresees the pretty new arrivals in her glass ball. It remains an open question how authentic these lesbo-games really are. That lesbians should be all that strap-on crazy does strike me as rather odd. The choice of girls is ok, doesn't exactly take your breath away though - finally, an evil-looking scar on the stomach and bruised boobs do have a bit of a turn-off effect. The concept and sets of MADAM & EVE may be more colourful than Sesame Street, but I like the weird look of the movie. I've to deduce some points for the sound that keeps changing from muted original to redubbed. Overall: Interesting lesbo stuff, not exactly new though. I'd rather go see 'Rockbitch' live on stage - or even spend a weekend at those hardrocking-girls' legendary castle.

MADAM & EVE is probably the toughest and at the same type best work by Angie Dowling. There's a easily discernible difference in setting and visuals between this and the ususal (typically produced by men) movies. The fact that some members of the commune 'Rock-bitch' are prancing about, adds considerably to the authenticity (and sales...) of this film. MADAM & EVE is certainly worth a look.

The third movie of London dwelling Australian Angie Dowling was shot in an unused hospital. Some of the ladies appearing in this film are members of the all-girl shock-rocker-band "Rock-Bitches", notorious for their uninhibited stage-performance with dildoes, for which they have been banned from performing live in certain countries. The whole thing is a curious lesbian fantasy set before a trashy Sci-Fi-Hospital backdrop. Cult.

Basically a movie aimed at a lesbian audience. That doesn't mean that as a man you can't have fun watching it. If you've had enough of all those run-of-the-mill lesbian movies from silicone valley, this makes a nice, refreshing change. You can tell that it's been made with passion and a love for detail, from the introduction, to the decor, to the dialogues. Emotions play a big part too, you can see that the girls get really into it and aren't just there for the money. It's a shame that the sex-scenes all take place in the same room, even though it's appearance changes with the varying lighting effects. The scenes, although very arousing, are a bit on the longish side. Aside from that I can wholeheartedly recommend this movie if you're looking for a 'different' kind of lesbian flick.
