What are Cookies?
When talking about cookies on the Internet then you should not think of something to eat. Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can send to a browser to store for a certain amount of time.
The content of these small pieces of information are simple definitions like "Language=English" or "Color=Blue".
It's not possible to store any programs in those cookies.
The ORGAZMIK website for example uses cookies to locally store the contents of your shopping cart or a sessioncode after logging into our Order Status.

Are cookies dangerous?
There are people around that think cookies are dangerous. This is not true that way. Since cookies are just small pieces of information there is nothing to be frightened of.
It's not possible to transmit any (malicious) programs within cookies.
The reason why certain people consider cookies are dangerous is the fact, that under certain circumstances they may be used to violate a surfers privacy because it's, in a limited way, possible to track what websites have been visited.
This is something mostly large banner advertising companies try to practice. These kind of cookies are called "Third-Party-Cookies" and will be set through the banner graphic which is hosted by the advertising company. "Third-Party-Cookies" can be blocked by most current browsers which is a recommended setting.
ORGAZMIK does not use these methods and does not share any cookie information.
