About River Rock Womens Prison
Dia Zerva and Justine Joli are transferred into an infamous women's prison full of nasty lesbians who prey on fresh young meat. The two girls have to make friends first - powerful friends - who will protect them from the sexual predators in the joint. The whole institution seems to be infiltrated with lesbians - even the sadistic warden (Claire Adams) likes to shag her employees and the occasional inmate. She also likes to torture them with clothes pins and bondage games. Time for Dia and Justine to get serious about that planned prison break!

Finally, another women-in-prison flick that delivers the goods - even though it hardly reinvents the genre (it tries a bit too hard to be moody and fast-paced at the same time). However, the story is told in a non-linear way and also eschews traditional sexploitation structures. Add to that a great setting and an authentic cast (as well as some convincingly played emotional drama) and you have yourself a WIP flick that manages to add gravitas and depth to the genre. That said, the sex scenes are definitely a tad too slow for me - but maybe that's because I'm not a chick.
