About Check In Check Out
Several couples travel to a luxurious Spanish hotel to enjoy some quality time in the sun: two newlyweds on their honeymoon; a couple who just wants to relax; two lesbians who want to have as much sex as possible; two people on a blind date etc. For most of them, the stay at the hotel turns out more adventurous than expected, as they make new friends and engage in all sorts of sexual frolics with strangers. Soon enough, the hotel rooms become regular dungeons of depravity as the guests engage in blowjobs, threesomes, cum-swapping, light bondage and domination (including candle wax torture) etc. The over-sexed guests even use the public whirlpool for their purposes, before they gather for a fancy dress party that turns into an orgy of epic proportions.

Roberto Valtuena's CHECK IN CHECK OUT is touted as a porn comedy and it does indeed deliver a few good laughs (e.g. a girl brushing her teeth with a dildo). Naturally, expectations are high with this title, as the Spanish director is famous for high-quality couple-friendly porn movies like THE GIFT and DOG WORLD. It's a shame, then, that CHECK IN CHECK OUT falls a bit short. The movie isn't without its highlights and the director does manage to stage some pretty impressive sex scenes (particularly some of the rougher ones) but on the whole CHECK IN CHECK OUT is not on a par with his previous masterpieces. I would definitely be careful about labelling this as a couple-friendly movie. My favourite performers were Samia Duarte (Spain) and Carol Vega (Uruguay). The visuals and the overall picture quality are just as good as expected, but the dubbing is absolutely atrocious. But I guess you can't blame the director for that - plus you can always watch the movie in its original version or in another language on the DVD (definitely a major selling point for this title). While no masterpiece, CHECK IN CHECK OUT is a solid Europorn flick that is well worth watching.
