About The Female Voyeur
THE FEMALE VOYEUR features three erotic female fantasies directed by Petra Joy and aimed at female audiences exclusively.
'She Calls the Shots' is about a studio photo shoot that gets out of control. A female photographer takes stills of an allegedly gay male couple and falls in love with the mens' sculpted bodies. When she can't hold back anymore, the shoot turns into a bisexual threesome.
The second story, 'XXXmen', is a tongue-in-cheek take on a popular reality TV show - but with a gender-switching twist! A group of wild women judge the model qualities of men who have to strut down the catwalk. Later on, they also have to dance around a stripper's pole for the jury!
The third and last story ('Pleasure Slaves') sees the male sex servants crawl through a tiger cage and put all their efforts into giving pleasure to their female masters. After a male strip show and a back massage with oil, the guys pull out all the stops and turn the scene into a full-blown orgy!

Another one of Petra Joy's attempts to emancipate the male-driven world of mainstream pornography. While she does succeed occasionally (thanks to her sharp, tongue-in-cheek approach and her sense of humour), the movie still doesn't look or feel very much different from your average sex flick. Maybe it isn't enough to just switch the gender roles? Or do men in animal cages, on stripper poles, during bi-sex etc. automatically make better porn? Apparently, yes. Personally, I find the director's approach a bit too simplistic (a female jury that judges mens' model qualities? I mean, come on!). It's her right to turn the tables on us men, of course, but is this really the extent of her imagination? It's certainly too simple for me. If you don't want to dig too deep into Ms Joy's intentions, though, you'll find the odd moment of interest in THE FEMALE VOYEUR. I mean, how often do you see a scene in which two guys go down on a woman at the same time? Also, the camera angles and the lighting setups are quite brilliant at times. If you look at the movie from this perspective, you can't but agree that Petra Joy has delivered a fairly unique and interesting piece of adult entertainment after all.
