'Magmafilm' director Lars Rutschmann had a vision - and he did not shy away from spending quite some money to make it come true! For ROLLERGIRL, he brought one of the most popular American pornstars to Switzerland: AVN-Award-winner Bonnie Rotten! In supporting roles he cast Gabrielle Gucci as well as a host of other Eurobabes. But before Bonnie Rotten gets butt-fucke in Zurich's infamous red-light cinema 'Kino Roland', the director treats us to a scene shot in Los Angeles, featuring the crazy tattooed babe and Austrian cock-soldier Mick Blue. The plot of ROLLERGIRL might not be very imaginative, but Rutschmann makes sure that the sex scenes and the visuals are top-notch, easily matchin even the highest US standards.
The sex is hot and brutish and the camera work (by Tim Grenzwert) adds a few interesting visual flourishes. Rutschmann paid a lot of attention to the soundtrack as well, which features original contributions from Swiss hip-hop artist Gimma (although the resulting tracks are quite different from the rapper's usual catalogue). On the whole, ROLLERGIRL is an excellent, even exemplary European production. My only gripe with the movie is its short running time (82 minutes). Apparently, there is already a second part in the making, which was shot in Berlin. But make sure you watch the first episode of ROLLERGIRL first - it's worth your time!
