The cover kinda gives it away: Belladonna unleashes hell on her viewers! The credits at the beginning of the movie list her as co-director (along with her husband) and, interestingly enough, with her given name (Michelle Sinclair). Looks like she's shedding some skin here. Indeed, CARBONGIRL is a real gem from Belladonna Entertainment. It's arty porn, a proper genre milestone, but at the same time the rather idiosyncratic camera work and the extraordinary performances never feel too contrived or pretentious. Thankfully, the lezzie sex is somewhat ribald! The cast is also hard to beat and Belladonna almost outdoes them all with her own performance. She stars in a solo scene - and she sports a shaved head! And, by God, she even gives us a transvestite scene. CARBONGIRL is on the cutting-edge of contemporary porn - with influences from 'Pinocchio' and 'Wizard of Oz' to 'Dr. Frankenstein'.
