About Zupko's Opera
This is the story of a gifted singer by the name of Puccini whose father is an alcoholic. He falls in love with a beautiful lady-singer and his jealous brother makes his life hell. When his lusty aria-bride cheats on him with another man, Puccini loses the plot and goes mad. He flees to a fantasy-world where he directs a randy sex-opera featuring hefty fuck-scenes. In the real world Puccini degenerates more and more and ends up in a dark alleyway beside a garbage can. In the end a pimp fucks a street-hooker over his suicidal body. Puccini, the genius, dies alone in the gutter and no opera-singer anywhere in the world sheds a tear about his demise.

A porn like a fever-dream, awkward and uncomfortable. For the concept of making a porn look and sound like an opera, and for OPERA's uniqueness, Zupko scores some points. In the end his bad-boy clichés with syringe-wielding Puccini and the oh so debauched fucks, seems rather strained. Points are deducted for the sometimes rather pseudo-artistic cut and an only half-erect cock. Therefore: original idea, middling execution.
