Bobbi Starr's latest endeavour as a filmmaker is a lezzie flick. And a damn good one it is too. VICARIOUS is a stylishly shot gonzo-lesbo-porno complete with P.O.V. action, a killer line-up and brutally nasty sex. All in all, an unbelievably hot girl/girl flick with lots of interesting new ideas. I'm impressed!

This is the second Bobbi Starr movie I've seen and once again I'm positively surprised. She really knows how to make porn look different from the rest. Bobbi spices up the simple concept with some interesting elements like fetish sex (nylons, shoes, feet) and occasional bouts of nastiness. There are a lot of scenes in this movie, each preceded by an intimate interview. The girls all exude a natural charm; their looks range from butch dykes to girlie types and matures. The P.O.V. lezzie sex is quite exceptional too. Thanks to a second camera, we also get to see the action in a wide shot. This breaks up the rather monotonous P.O.V. scenes rather nicely and poses an interesting alternative to other similarly themed movies out there. To sum it up, this movie offers expertly captured action (including many subjective camera angles) and more than lives up to its claim ("so close you can taste it").
