For some time the label 'Erosmedia' from Bavaria (Germany) has been a hot insider recommendation in the German porn industry (and rightly so..). KATJA KASSIN'S DIARY is a light, playful porn-movie with some really inventive ideas. The image quality is high by European standards, only the sound turns out a bit too cheap for my liking. Altogether a promising title and possibly not an insider thing for much longer...

A promising start to a new series: Sweet, young, German student Katja Kassin lets us take a peek into her diary. The look and good ideas lift this movie way above the usual German fare. Good acting, spiced up with some very frivolous ideas one rarely sees. Even if the vegetable-number is a bit of a clichée, in this case it's really great fun to watch the girls shove carrots and cucumbers up themselves, they truly seem to enjoy it too. Another plus is, that the scenes were shot at real places and not in boring studio sets. The ladies are cheeky and pretty, but they could have hired a more attractive lad as shopping-centre detective.

Putting aside the fact that I liked neither the settings nor the cast, I must say I was quite fascinated by the carrot and cucumber scene. Open for anything, the girls show what they're made of and what they like. The only way to achieve variety: Your own imagination and a generous helping of a lust to experiment. Not really a 'couple-movie' I think. Personally, I found the movie a bit too 'grubby' and boring. But that might be 'cause I'm missing the glossy Hollywood-girls.
