About Urban Friction
Mika and Poochie live in Chicago and are in newly in love. They both get very hot at the thought of inviting a third party into their bed. Sadly they're both a bit shy and don't quite dare confess their fantasies to eachother. They rather get their kicks in little sex-adventures outside of their relationship. Poochie picks up a tattooed punk-lady and Mika has fun in the bathtub with her best friend. Then one day they're on the verge of a massive relationsship-crisis. They decide to join forces and henceforth engage in a wealth of merry threesomes with strangers. Extras: 7-minute bonus-scene.

URBAN FRICTION is a lovely movie with imaginative scenes which will please open-minded couples too. The sex is never brutal even if the first scene swerves towards s/m a bit. If you're into porn-chic, you'll be dissapointed, no glamour-girlies in sight. The sex remains very modest throughout the movie. In my opinion they could have turned it up a notch or two, to stick to lovey-dovey only gets a bit tedious after a while. Even if you give URBAN FRICTION 'exotic'-bonus, it only just makes the 'good' rating, seen as there's some weaknesses in the image-quality department too.

This independent movie from Chicago which won 'best movie' at the 2002 San Francisco erotic-movie festival, is about as far from the "I'll fuck you, you bastard"-mentality as you can get. In unobtrusive images and with a non-professional cast, it tells a very sexy story about a highly sexed couple and their search for a more unconventional form of relationship. A movie for people who like to take a more tender look at genitalia, embedded in a highly emotional story. It's rather well-mannered health-food-store porn, but in this age of sometimes very clumsy 'in- and-out' fuck-flicks, it certainly deserves its niche in the market. A good alternative to the heftier productions from the sex-film factories.
