In 2000, ORGAZMIK hired Dick Hertz as their first full-time editor. Hertz (born 1976) had previously dabbled in the Swiss TV industry as a director, an occupation that left him bored beyond belief. In 1996, he moved to the USA to study filmmaking at the renowned University of Southern California.

At USC, Hertz shot a number of sexually explicit 16mm shorts that promptly got him expelled from school. To make ends meet, Hertz had to work as a production assistant for several gangbang productions. Between pickung up spooge-clotted hankies and emptying the fluff girls’ spittoons, Hertz came up with some ground-breaking ideas for his own porn movies.

This ultimately led to his return to Switzerland, where he busily prepared to shoot his own brand of genuine Swiss adult entertainment. But soon enough, Dick had to learn that the uptight Helvetia chicks were apparently not only from a different female species than their American gendermates, but also less than enthusiastic about taking part in such an unholy endeavor as Dick’s.

Disillusioned, Hertz called it a day and decided to become a writer. But even after reviewing more than 2’500 porn movies, and being plagued by retinal detachment and painful permanent erections, Hertz still dreams of realizing a Swiss hardcore project beyond Heidi stereotypes and cheesy politics.
