Obsession was born September 29th, 1976, in Portland, Oregon, to an African-American father and a white mother. As a teenager, Obsession went to high school in Los Angeles. Despite her good looks she was a rather introverted adolescent – a typical loner.
Obsession got into the industry after answering an ad in 'LA Weekly'. In 1994, she starred alongside Mr Marcus in her first hardcore sex scene - which included anal, of course. During her first year in the industry, Obsession worked with Mr Marcus exclusively.
In the beginning, Obsession was often typecast as the skanky Hip Hop slut. This was probably due to her long-running (and rather obsessive) collaboration with 'King Cum', Rodney Moore. Nevertheless, Obsession won a Foxe Award in 1997. Her dance acts in front of the camera soon made her a minor cult star among the black fan community, resulting in music video appearances in Dr Dre's 'Still Dre' and 'Fuck You'. In 2001, another one of her celebrity fans, Hip Hop superstar Snoop Dogg, hopped onto the hardcore band wagon to produce DOGGY STYLE, a starring-vehicle for his muse, Obsession. As you can see, nothing is impossible in the land of opportunity. That is, if you're willing to swallow a few gallons of cum...
To date, Obsession has starred in more than 200 porn movies. She is often named the adult industry's first ever black female superstar. |
