Brad Armstrongs career basically went the usual "rags to riches" route - just that our lad didn't start out washing dishes at some seedy restaurant but, as befits the porn-biz, was a stripper at a local club. Armstrong did this during his college days in his Candian homeland. When he met Erica Boyer (Super Vixen) while working his side job he decided on the spot to go and shoot three movies in L.A.
As he already owned a home, he intitially returned to Canada. Later he changed his mind and decided to get serious about the whole porn business. And so he returned to the city of angels. Call it coincidence or destiny; just after the two shot their first film CHECK MATE together in 1994, Lauren was hired by Vivid. Their relationship wasn't to last much longer, but what was significant was that Brad met Wicked Pictures-founder Steve Orenstein. When he told him that he'd just starred in a movie for Vivid, it was only a matter of time before he got signed up by Wicked. In the years that followed he did many films for them.
Brad Armstrong remaines faithful to Wicked to this day. He did EUPHORIA, one of the most successful productions in porn-history which won awards left right and centre: AVN Awards, Adam Film World Awards, the prestigious 'Best Feature – Video', 'Best Director – Video', and 'Best Actress – Video'. Even at the XRCO Awards the film made 'Video of the Year 2002'; the first time ever that a single movie got all three of the biggest US-awards. Armstrong also made a name for himself as porn director, which makes him a favourite of couples too. His latest stroke of genius is from 2005, the erotic drama THE COLLECTOR, awarded by AVN with 'Best Art Direction' and 'Screenplay', while the laudrette-comedy FLUFF & FOLD saw Jessica Drake awarded 'Best Actress'.
Not only his fans will remember the fantasy porn DREAM QUEST (Jenna Jameson, Asia Carrera and many more) from 2000 for a long time to come. This monumental works had a budget that is to this day pretty much unsurpassed and the elaborate sets set new standards for many porn-features to come.
