The term "comic" is well known and should not need further explanation. Cosplay on the other hand might not be that common. The word is a combination of Costume and Play. It's a trend coming out of Japan where people dress like japanese comic figures (manga) or also like characters from a computer game or animated movie. Wearing the costume they try to look and act as close as possible like the original. Unfortunately I have to say that alt queen Joanna Angel is not really pulling it off properly. Only the last scene features the whole Cosplay action a bit more intensive. Otherwise the girls just wear quite conventional and colored wigs during sex. Sure such wigs belong into every cosplayers wardrobe however just wigs alone are not enough to be taken serious in that scene. The sex in COMIC BOOK FREAKS AND COSPLAY GEEKS is really hot but the motto of the film gets pretty lost. That's too bad because I think it would be a great niche to combine cosplay with porn.
