While not entirely convincing, KATSUNI CASTINGS does offer a bunch of really hot scenes. Thanks to them, the movie ultimately manages to rise above the competition. A lot of the girls look very promising, most prominently German discovery Franziska Facella. The shaky-cam approach might look adequate during the first few scenes but grows more and more annoying with every minute. And while the sex scenes are quite imaginative, they do feature condoms almost exclusively - which is a real pain. Although the movie is being released in 2011, the majority of the material was shot in 2008. The positive aspects of this production outweigh the negative ones overall, but I seriously doubt that I'd take this ride again in the future.
