Another hot but supremely dark fetish flick from Tanya Hyde. All of the girls wear stockings, high heels, (patent) leather and rubber clothing. The men show up in uniforms, snazzy suits and male fetish fashion - along with weird animal or gas masks. The action is generally quite stimulating; the only off-putting thing are the wildly gesticulating female performers (e.g. during the 'Showgirl' chapter). I must say, the cast really isn't my cup of tea in general. But that's clearly a matter of personal taste and doesn't diminish the overall quality of the movie at all. As is usually the case with Tanya Hyde's movies, the picture quality is absolutely excellent. The monotonous techno soundtrack is also spot on in this movie. If you like fetish sex and/or Hyde's movies in general, you certainly won't be disappointed by DARK EDGE.
