Finally it's here: the eagerly awaited first feature-porn from 'Red Light District'! So far 'Red Light District' have made a name for themselves almost exclusively in the field of gonzo (except for the two scandal-movies with Paris Hilton und Joanie Laurer), but for this feature-film project they hired famous director James Avalon (LES VAMPYRES). For all those reasons, it doesn't really come as much of a surprise that a wide range of big names were eager to take part in this film. In the end the lead role went to Penny Flame (to be admired in three hardcore-scenes). One of the great acts in this movie, in my opinion, is Hillary Scott. The story of DARKSIDE might not exactly be novel, but it's the excellent craftsmanship of director James Avalon that makes this movie a first-rate erotic experience. Sex-wise, DARKSIDE is very tasteful and couple-friendly on the one hand, on the other, it is still nicely debauched (gagging, anal-sex, cumswapping). Sets and locations leave absolutely nothing to be desired and that's why I'm sure: This is what a future 'AVN'-award winner looks like!

Right, it's shot. The long-awaited porn-feature by James Avalon, produced by a studio that usually earns its money with hefty wall-to-wall sex-flicks with a minimum of dialogue and all the more groping. In Avalon the producers have gotten themselves a dialogue- and story-writer on board. How it turned out? A nice sex-thriller with slight touches of humour with sex-scenes choreographed by Vince Voyuer, therefore well-shot and to the point. The rest is b-movie plot on private TV-station level.
