About Pirates
1763: Captain Edward Reynolds (Evan Stone) hunts pirates. He pulls Isabella (Carmen Luvana), who was thrown overboard during a raid of her ship, from the sea. The evil pirate captain Stagnetti (Tommy Gunn) is on a quest to find a treasure map which he wants to wrest from the forces of darkness through a black magic ritual. Luckily there's Reynold's first mate (Jesse Jane) who sticks her nose everywhere it doesn't belong. The map ends up in Reynolds & Co's hands and a race against time begins. Whoever gets to the treasure island first wins. But the island turns out to be inhabited by a horde of dead sailors - sceletons who jealously guard what they think of as their island and ram a sword up any uninvited visitor's butt. But our intrepid adventurers are more clever than you'd have thought and make it in the nick of time: Happy End.

One thing is sure: No expenses were spared by 'Digital Playgroud' and 'Adam & Eve' in the making of this feature-porn. Another thing too: PIRATES was directed excellenty, the sets are lavish, the animations (fighting sceletons for instance) are of a very high standard and the line-up, with ladies such as Jesse Jane, Carmen Luvana and Teagan Presley, is of top of the range. Only the movie SEX PIX (by 'Red Light District") could challenge the pirates at this year's AVN-Awards. The only critique I have is that, for me, some of the actresses are a bit too blond and too 'full-bosomed' and that the sex could have done with being a bit wilder. In all other respects, I take my hat off to this piece of work.

Joone sets sail with his eagerly awaited pirate-sex-film in massive cinema-format. So, how has it turned out? An excellently made costume porn-flick with lots of special effects, thunderous soundtrack and a few routinely shot sex-scenes in comfy beds. It kind of begs a question: Why not just watch the PG-rated version with Johnny Depp and get a DVD in which Jesse Jane & Co. are getting right down and dirty? Still, a delightfully entertaining movie, just the thing for getting lots of awards at the next AVN-Award show.

Greetings from Hollywood. For a porn, this movie has a fascinating plot and is not just "pretending" to be a feature film. The elaborate script, the amazing images and the indeed very acceptable acting elevate PIRATES to the elite of porn. I watched the HD-version on the computer and am thrilled. As it's quite dark on your average pirate's ship, the true brilliance of the images only really becomes obivous in the outdoor shots. Despite there being plenty of sex-scenes, this movie is not suited for "quick relief". But for seeing that porn can be very different it's perfect.

It's easy to immerse oneself into this rough world full of pirates. The sets and costumes are fabulous and the music suits the mood perfectly. Scary bandits with eye-patch and bandanna complete the picture and "wilden" the whole thing up. But the sex is not rough, which rather surprised me ... I would have welcomed some wild sex-scenes. The eloquent fondling and especially the hot blow-job scenes are great and one hell of a turn-on. Warmly recommended for couples! The dark galleys see some red-hot action. I'm fascinated by the strong lads and their mighty cocks. The girls too are exceedingly dishy in their bodices, hung with pearl jewelry, they truly look the part. Lots of love and devotion have created this masterpiece with great plot and plenty of variation.

Beautiful setups, great sex, very funny moments; Evan Stones pirate hunter captain Edward Reynolds MUST become a cult figure. Jesse Jane, Carmen Luvana, Janine and Devon all act their panties off, and PIRATES is a journey not to be missed.
