About Regarding Jenny
Like so many girls, Jenny Densuke dreams of being a movie star. But the competition is fierce in the big city and her model career isn't going anywhere either. A very entertaining movie that is really hard to classify. It's closer to a reality soap rather than a porno movie. Jenny is a Real Doll who acts and reacts just like a real woman. Most of all, she has the same problems as a real woman: career angst, relationship problems and bouts of serious horniness. A terrific concept, a fast-paced script and solid acting make this flick a winner. Marie Madison has definitely gone where no one else has gone before. The movie reminds me of a documentary that was on TV recently. It was about families and people who live with a Real Doll as if it was a proper person - the sexual aspects of the relationship were left out, though. REGARDING JENNY fills in the blanks... and then some.

In Craig Gillespie's comedy LARS AND THE REAL GIRL (2008), a reclusive bachelor falls in love with a female sex doll and marries her. Marie Madison's REGARDING JENNY, the porn version of said story, is a cheekier, funnier and more anarchistic than the original. The story also centres around a rubber sex doll. While the mainstream original loses steam after the promising first half, REGARDING JENNY continues to score till the end - it's a sex flick with a socio-critical attitude and plenty of hard-driving sex. Now that's what I call sexy!
