You either love or hate them, those pompous porn-movies with a more or less convincing plot. While Digital Playground achieved a true masterpiece with PIRATES las year, Wicked's CURSE ETERNAL pretty much fails. Initially it does look like an elaborate costume drama, but it soon becomes obvious that this film might have cost more money than a simple fuck-flick, but the daft dialogues soon take you back to the sad reality. Porn performers are no actors and porn script-writers no creators of grand cinema. What remains is erotica, nice, sensuous images. This will please some, but not others. I side with the latter. The fact that there's condoms in use throughout may be politically correct, but in the scenes with the pseudo-Cleopatra they're very much out of place.
