About James Deen's 7 Sins: Gluttony
The second part of James Deen's magnum opus about the seven deadly sins. This time the topic is gluttony: a round table worth of hungry sinners devour a feast of food, before another thought makes their mouths water even more - sex! Yes, these people not only crave food, they also need lots of fucking. Soon the food party turns into a full-blown suck-and-fuck orgy - complete with all sorts of deep-throat blowjobs and the occasional head-in-the-pasta-bowl moment (during sex, of course) for some of the girls. The main course consists of chubby Harper Hughes ready for the taking in the middle of the table!

Advance word for James Deen's mini-series based on the seven deadly sins has been very good. Now he releases the second part in the series (after GREED): JAMES DEEN'S 7 SINS - GLUTTONY. It is, however, a bit of a double-edged sword. On the one hand, Deen tries hard to inject some artsiness into pornography, which is very commendable. But on the other hand he also tries too hard to make it work. The entire movie is set in a single, gloomy room. Four male and four female performers fuck around a table, with the camera constantly tracking around them. Meanwhile, chubby Harper Hughes lies on the table, waiting for the big group sex finale. While the sex scenes do contain the odd brilliant or depraved moment, the action never really builds up. Like Harper Hughes, viewers are bound to ask themselves what exactly they are waiting for - and whether it will actually ever happen. James Deen doesn't even star in the movie, he just stays behind the camera. Deen's omission as a performer is probably the movie's most glaring mistake, as it is usually the man's undeniable wit and charm that often saves a scene (or even an entire flick). Apart from some good stylistic ideas and an interesting concept, this Deen-directed movie does not live up to the hype!
