This is the first in a series of titles from New Sensations that aim to conquer the growing women/couple-friendly market (i.e. no bunny-fucking but plenty of romantic sex). The series' kickoff is a rather successful affair: a grieving hearts story complete with attractive performers (both sexes) and aesthetically pleasing camera work. In terms of the picture quality the movie feels a bit uneven. Some scenes look nicely lit and snappy while others feel sloppy and rather 'soft' (as if shot through too much diffusion). This is particularly true of the sex scene by the pool. And speaking of sex: don't expect any hard-driving action here for this is a rather tame product aimed at the couples market. Still, the scenes could have been a bit more imaginative. Maybe the producers will think of something fresh for the next installment ...
