The Italian label Pinko rises from the ashes after a long DVD hiatus. Not only is CATHOUSE 45 available in a combo box that features both the DVD and the Blu-ray version of the movie, it's also available in eye-popping 3D. Even better, the 3D effects are not bad at all. The story, on the other hand, is quite daft and features two army deserters who stumble into a brothel. On the plus side, the ladies do wear lingerie quite frequently and the movie does have its moments too. The picture quality is quite good as well. The camera work mainly focuses on making the 3D work. It's only the audio that suffers a bit from what sounds like a partial English dub job. While no masterpiece, CATHOUSE 45 delivers plenty of thrills thanks to the combo offer that includes the 3D version at a very fair price point.
