About Cleopatra
In a pyramid a group of scientists tries to get some genetic material from a mummy reputed to have been Cleopatra. Cleopatra was renowned for being regularly bored in her huge palaces, and for relieving her boredom with degenerate sex-games. The whole court had to drop their pants at her command when she got the itch. The ancient Egyptians knew even then that the bum-hole is a nice visitation-alternative to boring old fanny-sex. In the end the scientists succeed in scratching a few genes from the old dried up mummy and a sequel of this costume-sex-flick is as certain as the next sandstorm.

A strong cast that Antonio Adamo has gathered here again. The flick's nicely produced and this time we get the original sound for the fucking (if not always in precise lip-sync). In the end it's a matter of whether or not you like Adamo's clinically clean, routine directing style.

What can I say: As a Joe D'Amato-sandal-sex-movie victim one is quite toughened. The connoisseur knows: Only production-budgets of more than 155 million USD make for a good historical movie. Adamo didn't take down all of his set for GLADIATOR to quickly shoot this costume-flick. Interested parties are encouraged to take a look at the second 'screeen-shot' in the DVD catalogue, where, behind Ms Faltoyano right leg, there's a bust of Julius Caesar (!) to be seen. The director seems to have been reading his Asterix and Obelix. But luckily, where visuals are concerned Adamo's reasonably sound of mind and camera and he did get some hot desert honeys in front of his camera. The whole thing is therefore just a little more attractive than a visit to the natural history museum.
