Freely quoting the Jennifer Lopez vehicle 'The Cell', director/writer/performer Rocco Siffredi spins a sinister yarn about a cop (The Roc himself) who goes undercover in the mind of a seriously demented criminal in order to find out where the sicko is keeping the last captured girl...
The dark subject matter perfectly mirrors Rocco's penchant for abysmal sex scenarios. Siffredi also pays homage to countless Hollywood epics with sumptuously staged car chases and fist fights. On the carnal front, expect lots of anal action, tit fucking, butt-plugging and at least one oily orgy scene that features ten girls. A brief excursion into gay territory will have conservative viewers gasp for air. Thankfully, a scene depicting Rocco getting bum-raped is only simulated.
Extras include a seperate music CD with the movie's soundtrack and a lenghty 'Making of' featurette.

When a movie reeks of high-concept (as THE ASS COLLECTOR obviously does, especially in regard to the hype that surrounded its release) it has to withstand comparison to that other 2002 big budget spectacle, EUPHORIA. Judged from technical aspects and plot, EUPHORIA is miles ahead of Rocco's outing. On the other hand, ASS COLLECTOR easily out-performs Brad Armstrong's movie in the sex department. It's a shame 'Evil Angel' wasn't willing to spend a couple of dollars more on this production because The Roc's abysmally perverted fuck fantasies deserve a big canvas to draw upon.
