About Rocky XXX - A Parody Thriller
When the boxing match between champion Apollo Creed (Mr. Marcus) and Clubber Lang (Tyler Knight) has to be called off, Creed decides to fight a complete newcomer instead in order to avoid financial repercussions. The honour goes to a guy called Rocky (Anthony Rosano), an unemployed amateur boxer who quickly realises that this could be the most important fight of his life ...
With ROCKY XXX - A PARODY THRILLER, award-winning director Will Ryder mixes boxing, love and sex together to create a brilliant adults-only spoof. Andy San Dimas, Lily LaBeau and porn legend Ron Jeremy are part of the pugilistic fun. Needless to say, the fights go on until various bodily fluids splatter the mat!

As a big boxing fan I was rather suspicious about this movie in the beginning. The cover, for one, is unbelievably awful. Also, the original Sylvester Stallone movie is a great boxing flick. And I would dare to say that Sly was never better than in ROCKY (if you exclude the first 'Rambo' movie and 'Copland'). But I'm happy to report that Will Ryder's Rocky parody is actually quite brilliant - right off the start when the score kicks in (don't forget to watch the Making Of in the Extras menu). Anthony Rosano delivers a fittingly weird performance and the girls (e.g. Andy San Dimas, Lily LaBeau, Chastity Lynn) are simply super-sweet. And Ron Jeremy gives us yet another exquisite performance as well. The sex is quite okay and the story is entertaining enough to keep you glued to the screen. Visually, the movie goes for a retro-look which is fine with me. Despite my initial suspicions, I have to say this spoof packs quite some punch!
