Right after MONTANA FISHBURNE made the headlines with her eponymous Vivid flick, she stabs her famous daddy Laurence Fishburne ('Matrix', Apocalypse Now', 'CSI Las Vegas') in the back again with this little party movie. In PHATTYS RHYMES & DIMES 14, Montana performs like a proper porn star WITH a proper porn star! Some might actually find this incentive enough to buy this flick (Montana's pimple-covered butt is definitely not enough of a turn-on). I have to admit the only reason why I watched this was because of Montana. At the same time, I felt that Megan Vaughn's scene was actually much better. Although Pumper can't resist barking a few rhymes into the mic before the sex, the prolonged anal torture of Ms Vaughn more than makes up for the gangsta performance (although it is the only anal scene in the entire movie - at least daddy gets a break for once). Flossee and Rena also deliver good work, even though the latter only gets the jizz over her butt. The DVD bonus material is quite generous and almost makes up for the yellow-tinted picture quality of the movie. Here's some advice for Mr Pumper: don't quit your day job as a porn star yet - the music's not quite there yet. Maybe get some lessons with Jake Steed. On second thought, no, don't do that! Overall, this 'spin-off episode' is quite acceptable (although, personally, it's definitely not my cup of tea). Celebrity stalkers and Hip Hop fans might find it enjoyable nonetheless.
